Cash-only sales are charged 7% of the sale price (5% on Pro and Business)
Sales tax added at checkout
When a trade includes a cash adjustment, we charge 5% of the cash only. Charizard ($425) + $75 → Venusaur ($350) costs $3.75 on the cash difference, plus the flat protection fee. Card value is never taxed.
How sales tax works
Sales tax (VAT/GST) is calculated and collected automatically at checkout based on your location, so the exact rate depends on where you live — typically 0–10% in the US and 17–27% VAT in Europe. The estimated totals shown below use a 7% example rate; you'll always see your exact tax rate and final total in the checkout form before you pay.
