Payments Terms of Use

Card payments are processed by Stripe. CardSwap never stores your full card number. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and shown as the final total before you pay.

Trade protection is $2.99 per transaction for free members, $1.49 on Business, and included with CardSwap Pro. A 5% fee applies to the cash gap in trades. Cash-only sales carry a 7% fee for free members and 5% on CardSwap Pro and Business. Card-for-card trades are never charged a percentage of card value. Trades routed through CardSwap for inspection add a $1.59 Trade Inspection Fee per trader, plus $8.49 if that trader chooses tracked delivery from CardSwap. CardSwap Pro is $9.99 per month, renews automatically until cancelled, and can be cancelled any time from Billing.

Consigned cards are charged the consignment fee shown on the consignment form when they sell.

Prices are shown in US dollars. Applicable sales tax or VAT is added at checkout.

Sale proceeds are held until the buyer confirms delivery, or for 7 days after payment, whichever comes first, and are then paid to the seller. Payouts go to the bank account or debit card you set up with Stripe.

If a card never arrives, arrives damaged or is not as described, open a dispute within the delivery window. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Trade protection escrow and the re-listing penalty are described in the Terms & Conditions.
